During my tenure at Palace Resorts, I had the incredible opportunity to make a significant impact as the Marketing Manager for the Travel Trade Segment. Over the course of nearly two years, I was deeply involved in various facets of marketing, branding, and content creation, and my journey was marked by a series of accomplishments and contributions:
Management of Collaterals: I had the privilege of overseeing the management and creation of both offline and online collaterals. This included meticulous execution of design and copywriting tasks, both internally and in collaboration with various agency partners. Ensuring that these materials reflected our brand's identity and values was paramount.
Content Strategy and Editorial Calendar: I managed the editorial calendar, curating topics for travel agent media purchases and digital collateral. This required a keen understanding of market trends and audience preferences to deliver engaging and relevant content that resonated with our target audience.
Artwork and Collateral Production: I actively contributed to the visual aspects of our marketing efforts. This involved creating artwork, sourcing images, and assisting in print procurement. Furthermore, I meticulously fact-checked various collateral materials, ensuring accuracy and professionalism.
Support Across Properties: I provided valuable support to the field sales, social media, and wedding teams, extending my expertise across ten different properties in Jamaica and Mexico. Coordinating the production of collateral and trade show displays while preparing marketing materials for distribution were key aspects of this multifaceted role.
